Dear friends,
I have 1xide hdd and 3xusb hdd.
usb hdd 1 is connected directly to the computers usb port.
usb hdd 2 is connected to a usb hub
usb hdd 3 is connected to a usb hub
ide hdd always works like expected, on this hdd linux is installed
.
usb hdd 2 always works, it will be mounted to the specific point whch I gave in the fstab file.
usb hdd 3 in 80% of the time will be mounted at boot correctly, and 20% of the time not.
usb hdd 1, which is directly connected to the computers usb, is mounted 30% of the time and 70% not.
If I unplug and replug the hdd 1 device, it will automaticly recognice it, but not mount it to the specific correct point.
I enabled the automount feature in KDE settings.
After a reboot, straight after the unsuccessful mounted startup, all 3 devices will 100% be recogniced correctly. Waiting at the grub entry for a longer time, will not help the problem.
Maybe I have to add some extra time at the recognition process of the usb devices at the startup?
The situation is now a bit annoying since I have to start the computer twice to make everything work. How to fix this issue?
Thank you.
