Hey, I'm back on Sabayon 10 after a little absence after my Sabayon 5.O (fully updated) finally required a re-install and I decided to play with Linux Mint Debian Edition for a little bit. I must say it...Sabayon really is the best Linux OS out there!!!! While I was using LMDE for a couple months, I came to absolutely love Cinnamon. It's really everything that Gnome 3 should have been. I know this innovative (and much better IMHO) desktop is also available for Sabayon, but it's currently stuck at version 1.4. I wonder if there are plans to keep up with updates as the Mint team issues them. Are there any plans to update the Entropy Store with the latest Cinnamon version 1.6 (and Muffin too)? I noticed there's a portage overlay for Cinnamon 1.6 but I hesitate to mix Portage with Equo for obvious reasons. Should I issue a formal package request? The new version brings a raft of new features and improvements, including Nemo, a sane fork of Nautilus. Thanks!
