convert source to entropy package

Hi,

How can I convert a gentoo source package into a binary so I can install it with entropy?

I tried the following command
equo smart inflate app-admin/puppet-2.7.19

but it gives out the error:
app-admin/puppet-2.7.19 is not a valid Entropy package

What am I missing or am doing wrong?

So I think you must merge the package/s first

I don't have the 'pkg' sub-command.

Merge the package? You mean download the source through portage and then use equo?
