"Secure Boot" & the new bootloader [Solved]

I'll be picking a new laptop up in the sales soon. No doubt it will come pre-infected with W8 and "Secure Boot." I was wondering what the plans are (if any) regarding this new secure boot bootloader that's been touted: http://mjg59.dreamwidth.org/20303.html

Most laptops have only UEFI (and not Secure Boot). However, I just implemented the support for it (live media boots, installer will be fixed soon [1-2 weeks]).

Is there a testing build we can look at? I just had to replace my laptop and it is infected with Windows 8 and secure boot. With UEFI enabled I can't boot the latest release DVD. With Legacy Mode enabled I can boot the DVD, but the Windows 8 partition is not recognized.

By comparison, a Kubuntu DVD is recognized as bootable, but it won't boot due to being blocked by some security policy.

Perhaps I misunderstood you. I thought you meant last Wednesday. Do you mean this week?

Yes, "starting from Wednesday" means Wednesday 5th December (tomorrow).
