Hi all:
I have a Cannon MX882 and need help finding the required drivers for the the printer/scanner and installing them.

The Gutenprint drivers include the Canon MX880, so you could try to see if the MX880 driver would work with your MX882 printer:

equo install gutenprint

and then use the CUPS browser interface to specify and configure the driver: http://localhost:631/

For the scanner, try installing the SANE packages:

equo install sane-backends sane-front-ends xsane

and, if you're using KDE:

equo install libksane ksaneplugin

GScan2PDF is a great utility:

Simple Scan is quite good:
