Gnome3 freezes after login

Hello,

Which Error logs do I look for to post in a bug report on bugzilla?

specifically,

I am able to login and get to the desktop, but afterwards there is no mouse pointer(cursor) to be seen anywhere.
also the only the way it looks different is that it shows the network to be disconnected and there are no icons

I have not been able to reproduce this bug effectively myself, it seems to be a erratic and intermittent problem, meaning that not exactly every login/reboot causes this issue

I looked in bugzilla and found a similar event occurred with libcogl.so.5.0.0 on bug #2839

But the difference is he was able to move the mouse cursor around,right click and had icons....

So, could this be yet another issue with libcogl? or perhaps something else is amiss?

Also, it does not shutdown correctly, it just logs out , to a black screen with a blinking cursor and does nothing, regardless of how long I wait

My system is composed of an AMD Phenom X6 1075T
8GB of DDR3-1333mhz ram
Intel PRO Gigabit ethernet
Nvidia 520GT GPU

I would very appreciate any guidance about where to find identifying crash information about these issues!
