delete files to obtain more space in the HDD [Solved].

I have a simple question. In addition to use BleachBit, is it possible to remove old versions of packages in /opt ; /etc ; /bin; /usr/bin ........ etc. directories?

example, in /opt , my sabayon systems, installed and upgraded since the version 5.2, hav many older versions of Java, icedtea.bin etc...

These files and directories may be removed without broken the system?

you can search with packagemanager like rigo or better equo about your installed packages

if removing older versions not help you can delete it by hand

after that you can do equo cleanup, but that brings only 300 - 400 Mb of space

they are not installed, are residues from delete packages, all old versions, my sabayon is upgraded.

the easiest way to gain space without risks is to remove some iconsets and only keep the only one that are in SVG. It surprising how must space take an icons set.

SOLVED.
I have now much more space. I removed unused locales, no more used Gentoo's Overlays, old files that not more installed, temporary files and directories, ununsed themes and Icons etc... then run BleachBit.
Now i have 50 Giga Free in the HDD.
Sabayon working good.

i am to lazy to do this all, on my ssd is space root 12/ 16 G home 27 / 47 G space,

thats enough to work with this....
