Linux Kernel 3.6 shows artifacts on login screen.

Pretty much what the subject suggests. Installed Sabayon X Xfce spin yesterday and after running a

equo update && equo upgrade --ask && equo conf update

, the Linux kernel version 3.6 was installed on my computer, and became the default booting kernel.

Following a reboot of the computer, when the computer reached the login screen, it was full of artifacts and random colours on the screen. However, switching to kernel version 3.5 acts as a temporary fix, and linux kernel 3.5 works perfectly on my computer.

I am asking if you have any ideas as to what would be the best course of action in this case. I was thinking of either editing grub's configuration files and make it have 3.5 as default for booting, or reinstalling 3.6 to see if the problem persists, or even uninstalling 3.6 completely and wait for 4.7.

What would you suggest me to do?
