I have a question about enlightenment on Sabayon.

I setup a spinbase (version 10) on a VM and installed e17 on it. My question is where is the e17 terminal (Terminology) at? There doesnt seem to be any additional gui software or programs available that I can locate (I did an equo search). Bodhi (an ubuntu derivitive sp?) seems to have several programs that are native to e17, most notably Terminology, but I dont know where to find them with Sabayon. Am I missing an overlay or repo that isnt installed by default or is there just limited support for e17 right now?

On a related note, what is the recommended login manager (display manager?) to use with e17? It seems the native one (entrance, or something like that) was discontinued a couple of years ago.

Hi Avanesov, welcome to the Sabayon Linux forums :D

E17 has a limited amount of support at the moment in Sabayon, this is mainly due to the fact that the project is not very stable and doesn't seem to provide clear releases over time. Thus Gentoo (and Sabayon) provide only the base packages.
There should be an enlightenment overlay on Gentoo, if you're willing to use portage, but I'm not sure of which software is available there, as I've never used it.

Currently I think the recommended E17 login manager in Sabayon is LXDM, but you might replace with any other login manager that you like, for example SLIM or LightDM (provided that you update /etc/conf.d/xdm accordingly).
