Run a command after VPN connection

Postby pnbalaji » Tue Oct 09, 2012 12:43

Hi,

I have been using Sabayon XFCE for the past couple of months and I like it a lot. I came from Arch before and I like Sabayon more than Arch (I like Arch too, but the update becomes a challenging task every time).

Now, I have a new requirement. Can some one help?

I am using Network Manager with openconnect to connect to my work's cisco VPN. Everything is working fine so far.

I did setup kerberized ssh between my local machine and my work server and that is working fine too. However, the kerberos tickets expire when its lifetime ends. I would like to renew the tickets once the VPN connection is established.

Basically, once the VPN connection is established, I would like to issue a "kinit -R" command. Can some one help me to acheive this? Please note that I am using XFCE and not Gnome or KDE.

Thanks,
Balaji.
