My Internet Connection ADSL Cable, works good, but....

I have an ADSL net connection, modem configurated as "rooter+bridged"

My Internet connection works well, but the "Eth0" device is not "seen", recognized, example in the command "net-setup", the message is: " eth0 eroor, not found"

in the command "ifconfig" show internet working good.

i searched for the "/etc/network/interfaces" dir/file but it is not found... What is the substitute for this dir-file in Sabayon, in order to turn possible "monitorize" my Net connection?

I assume, you have a broadcom chipset...
It helped, when I did this (as root in console):

modprobe broadcom

Is an ADSL, Cable, an Brazilian Net provider, is Speedy (Done in Brazil by Telefonica, company partained to Telefonica Spain)

My Ethernet Board is an Realtek PCI Express Gigabit Controler.

The Eth0 appears in many softwares, example im Hardinfo, may be `followed` also by packages as Wireshark etc...
also the net is working, but Network Manager packages remains `inactive`.

Resuming, the net is working, Eth0 and lo detected, Eth0 auto working, but only in some packages and commands, appears as `not found`. Also, when the graphical env is closed, i have no more network, in pure command line, but net services active. My net loose some configs...
