What is this widget? [Solved]

Hi guys,

I'm an openbox user & I was wondering what this widget at the top of the screenshot is called: http://i37.tinypic.com/15gb4oj.png

I posted this same question on #linux channel and one guy ended up saying that it's awesome wm

Anyway, so far I've received mixed responses....some say it's a customised conky & some say it's just a widget or something else but no one has been able to help me out.

Can anyone point out how I can get that and if it's a conky it'd be really helpful if you could provide me with similar config etc.

Conky, by the look of it. You can configure Conky to be a narrow bar rather than the more-usual larger rectangle.

Thanks man....but how do I configure it...I'm no expert in this

Perhaps someone can share a config similar to that or kindly point me towards resources where I can learn more about customisation.

There is at least one thread in the Arch Forums titled Conky Bar in OpenBox, and there's a very long thread where Arch users post their Conky configs. Have a look there. Not to mention in the Conky Wiki and documentation pages.

I'm pretty sure it's conky. I am using conky myself and configured some configs some time ago. It's not that hard to come up with a config like shown in the screenshot. It's not that hard to configure conky either(as long as your using the predefined functions).

Thanks Fitz, I did find that thread in Arch forum but seems like it's a lot of complication to get these stuff configured :[
