IDE RAID woes

IDE RAID woes

Firstly sorry for any stupid mistakes but I am a n00b when it comes to linux. I have ran Mint 12 and 13 but very much just playing about and not really getting stuck in, so yes im a n0b :D
Anyway I'm hoping you can help me a little. I have an old MSI K7D Master running two 2800MP's and I just bought a Fasttrax tx2000 RAID card for it. I want to install Sabayon on to it whilst running two 120Gb hdd's in raid 0. When I run the gui setup I can install it but once the system reboots the pc cant find anything to boot, no grub screen no nothing. Where am I going wrong? Any tutorials on setting up on RAID0? Any help would be appreciated.
