Sabayon 10 Mate crashes!

Yesterday, I downloaded and installed S10 Mate. I really wanted to use the mate edition permanently. I had constant crashing on it. When I rebooted after it installed, It loaded up the desktop, with the 'application places system' menus on the upper RIGHT side of the screen. Then the screen went black, and looked like it should. When I tried to click on the menus, the screen went blank and the screen went weird. I don't think you have it stable yet!!!!!!!

o.O, maybe your hardware has problems? or a kernel module is behaving oddly?

The problem IS NOT with my laptop!!!! It definitely is with Sab 10 Mate!!!!!

Could you please calm down? Adding an arbitrary number of exclamation marks instead of commas and capitalizing random portions of your sentence won't make the problem fade away

Moreover without informations we cannot have any clue of what's happening, what video card are you using? Could you get to a console by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 when the screen went blank? What do you mean by constant crashing? Were those crashes happening during the Live version or after the installation process?

The more information you provide, the easier is to find out why it isn't working.

Sorry about the last reply. Well, just now I solved the issue. The problem evidently was with the mate iso. But just now I thought of installing Mate with my Gnome 3. Now it's working. I guess because my Gnome 3 is working great, now Mate is working great. I don't get it, but I am happy. I just get frustrated when I can't figure something out. Sabayon has been and will always be my only distro.

Yeah, i have the same problem!

I dnt know why, but, the Sabayon mate version crashed anytime on my laptop..

Now, im search in this forum how i can remove mate completely and install fluxbox or xfce4 whitout equo crashed too.
