Kmail: gesendete Nachrichten als neu (imap)

Hi,

ich habe jetzt erfolgreich kmail zum laufen bekommen.
Ich nutze IMAP und abholen/versenden klappt, er scheint auch recht gut zu laufen.

Allerdings verstehe ich nicht, WIE kmail Nachrichten versendet. So wies aussieht nutzt der statt den jeweiligen IMAP Server den lokalen Ordner für Sent,Trash usw. Ich kann zwar konfigurieren das er die auf dem Server nutzen soll, allerdings sendet er nach wie vor irgendwie lokal un kopiert einfach die Mails auf den Server. Mit dem blödsinnigen Ergebnis, das sämtliche gesenteten Mails als "Neu" auftauchen. Das hab ich bisher bei noch keinem E-Mail-Client erleben müssen.

Ich habe in der Akonadi-Konsole und in den Einstellungen für Konto/Identität nichts gefunden wo ich das ändern könnte.
GIbts da nen Trick ?

Have you set your sent folder in settings - configure kmail - identities - modify - advanced?

thx for your answer.

Yes, i configured the Folders there.
Kmail is copying the sent messages to the sent-Folder, the problem is its marked as unread.
I found many other problems in kmail too, so i will use claws-mail until KMail is usable with imap

Sorry I was unable to help with your problem.

I find Kmail very good. I am in Thailand and my IMAP server is in the UK. I run Kmail with 5 IMAP accounts, the largest of which has 237,000 messages and the second largest has 86,000. I have tried all the IMAP clients I could find and Kmail works best for me. The latest version (4.90) works pretty smoothly. The main thing I cannot get to work is the spam filter so I now have dspam running on the server.
