^Johnny Who, that's not your Desktop, it's your wallpaper. (I like Vlad Gerasimov's artwork too, BTW, and use his dolphins wallpaper on one of my machines).

Sabayon with Openbox partition on my Asus 1215P. Customized OBmenu shows Applications pipemenu with icons courtesy of openbox-menu. Panel is tint2. Conky shows RAM usage is only 71.2 MB with Menu open and scrot taking screenshot.

@gentoovortex

Clean Desktop & Elegant!
I am just beginning (2012) to do OpenBox installs and really appreciating the simple elegance as well as efficiency.
Being a KDE fan boy 1999-2009 then switching to Xfce.. I plan on installing OpenBox on Sabayon X soon.
Meanwhile, that lead in was to declare that the latest KDE 4.9.xx is really snappy.. and makes better use of resources.
So, I am, for the first time in years, running a KDE desktop again on a Sabayon X install.. good stuff.

Anyway, OpenBox with tint2 plus Conky will be coming here, soon.
Criticism accepted for Solutions that work. ;^)

This scrot is a bit uncharacteristic for me.
