Hello again.
I have long been using mamepgui in Ubuntu, which is a great frontend for mame.
Apparently, someone has ported the code to a deb package, which works perfectly.
This package is not available for Sabayon.
I installed the package deb2targz and "unzipped" the deb.
After that, I copied each inside tgz files to their system directories.
The program starts correctly, requesting the executable (sdlmame) what is found in the repositories. Then starts updating the database. Before finish, it gives an error and closes.

Anyone know what could be the problem?
Deb file attached in case anyone wishes to test.
