KDE gone after update

I allowed a large update (180 ) items and afterwards I was unable to log in. I believe KDE is gone. My install is Sabayon 9 KDE and has been up for a few weeks without issue. I can log into Media center and the other choices but I can't find any KDE. I suppose it is just default but that can't be logged into.

Any way to fix this?

Strange (and not usual).

When you see the login screen, press Ctrl-Alt-F1 to get to a VT, log-in as root user, and enter the following commands:

equo update
equo upgrade
equo conf update

Then reboot by entering the command "reboot" and try to log-in again.

Thanks for the help.
I tried what you said and all I got was a cannot find needed dependencies:
Not Found:>=dev-libs/dbus-glib-0.100
and dbus 1.6

when i applied "equo conf update" I got fine baby nothing to do!

Still I can not get into KDE.
I'm in one of the other choices.

Any ideas?

LIbtest I got discardding directory /usr/lib64 because it's symlinked on /usr/lib
and discardding directory /lib64 because it's symlinked on /lib
and finally a system is healthy.

Next deptest resulted in

rick # equo deptest
>> @@ Running dependency test ...
