SpinBase DAILY x86, Problem with Kernel Update? [Solved]

Installed DAILY SpinBase (20120805). It uses kernel 3.4.0. When I installed my programs including the ati-drivers, it brought in 3.5.0 kernel. It did not switch to kernel 3.5.0 but changed the kernel symlink to kernel 3.5.0 and installed only the ati-drivers for 3.5.0.

modprobe -v fglrx

FATAL: Module fglrx not found

locate fglrx.ko

/lib/modules/3.5.0-sabayon/video/fglrx.ko

To get X to work with the ati-drivers, I had to manually install them for 3.4.0.

equo install ati-drivers-12.6#3.4.0-sabayon

locate fglrx.ko

/lib/modules/3.4.0-sabayon/video/fglrx.ko
/lib/modules/3.5.0-sabayon/video/fglrx.ko

My video hardware is

VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Turks [Radeon HD 6570]
