Greetings;
Have recently started using Sabayon/GNOME, and what I have seen so far I have liked. I have an issue, though, that I can't get GNOME to recognize a change in locale.
I have changed /etc/locale.gen (and run locale-gen), changed /etc/env.d/02locale, run env-update, confirmed that /etc/profile.env has the correct locale setting, and rebooted many times throughout, however GNOME seems to be stuck with a locale of 'en_US.utf-8' (note the capitalization).
I can't figure out where GNOME is getting this setting (I know it's GNOME, because if I log in straight to the terminal, it's correct, and if I open a terminal window from GNOME, it's incorrect, then if I source /etc/profile, it gets the right setting).
Can anyone suggest where else I might look to change the locale setting so that GNOME gets the right settings?
Thanks in advance.
