sabayon 9 Gnome livecd freezes on boot [Solved]

I would like to try sabayon out. I have downloaded the sabayon 9 i386 Gnome livecd iso. I currently have windows 7 and ubuntu 11.10 installed on the local hard drive. I have a dell duo I am trying to boot this on. I used multiboot to put make the iso bootable on the usb stick.

Upon boot up, it gets stuck on "mounting" partitions. It shows /dev/sda1, 2, 3 & 4. The caps lock key still works, so the computer hasn't completely frozen. I let it sit there for about 20 minutes once and still didn't get anywhere. I have tried rebooting several times.
