Thanks for the reply. I already tried this. It lists essential packages like logrotate, sudo, sabayon-skel,... It also lists packages I installed myself e.g. thunderbird but it seems not to list all the dependencies pulled in by installing thunar. For me this list seems random.
The purpose of a package manager is to keep track of dependencies. If it is not able to do this, it is broken. My Gentoo system runs since 2008 without re-installation. If portage was broken like Entropy my system would be bloated.
I thought Sabayon would be the perfect distribution for my partner's laptop (which I have to setup and maintain): based on Gentoo (the Distribution I use), rolling releases, binary packages (which makes it easier for non-technical user to install SW) and user-friendly for non-technical users. But with this broken package management it is not maintainable.
I will give Arch Linux a try.
