I have a big problem, i was using skype and my pc crashed, I turned the laptop off and power it up and when I was trying to do my log in, it keep failing, and then tried with root but fail too. Then i go to terminal mode and try to log in my user acc and I got this message:
- Code: Select all
No Directiry, logging in with HOME=/
Before proceed with this i need to add this important info, When I installed sabayon I decided to create different partitions for /boot, /home, /swap, and / , as you can see in fdisk but with a missing /home, this partions was in btrfs file system, until now i didn't had any kind of trouble.
I did some didging and I got this message in rc that says:
- Code: Select all
* Mounting local filesystems ...
/etc/init.d/localmount: line 16: 6838 Segmentation fault mount -at "$types" $no_netdev
* Some local filesystem failed to mount
When I do
- Code: Select all
mount /dev/sda6 /media/folder
What happen? Can I recover the files? Its my home folder its everything in there. if my disk is broken i can send to warranty but first I need to recover the data.
Please tell me what I can do.
