Gthumb [Solved]

Hi,
in Sabayon 8 gthumb was working very good. In my oppinion it's the best Linux thumbnail viewer and for my Photos i'm taking with my Nikon in RAW mode very essential. In Sabayon 9 it's gone .I waited for 3 weaks now. Is there a chance to get it in future in entropy or is it gone definitely???

Hi there,
the only application that I could find in our repos that fits the name barely is gnome-raw-thumbnailer.
If thats not the one you asked for, you can make a request for that app.

I'm not on Sabayon, right now, so can't check.
you can try "gpicview" which basically can show any graphical format.
or "gwenview" , along with "kipi-plugins"

Thks a lot Jomiel and batvink,
a super help imediatelly . Gwenview with the Extension is "nearly" or "as good as" gthumbs. The kipi Plugins does it. Until gthumbs comes again. I'll ask for compilation of gthumbs again. In future I'm not so shure wich is better gthumbs or gwenview. KDE or Gnome. In the moment I'm on Cinnamon.
