How to get Eclipse or Netbeans to work with Java

Hi guys, I wanna make it brief and straight to the point.

I've been having trouble making netbeans or eclipse IDE's to work with Java JDK, when I try to compile some java source it says the ant build script couldn't be found.

I'm using the latest version of Sabayon linux with Gnome3 or openbox.

I can give you more details but right now I'm not in front of my production machine so anyway please help me out if you know a way to fix this.
