Just thought I'd add that I've recently returned to Sabayon 9 and was having problems getting this printer to work again until I came across Fitzcarraldo's comment 138 here: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130645 and my problem is solved for the second time. Thank you.
