Sound work very bad.

Hi!

I am on fresh install sabayon 9 operation system. Im very satisfied with it. Only what ennoys me is sound beouse it work like every second sound close and than again open. This is very unnervingly.

PS: sorry for bad english.

Please help me.

Hi!
To help we should know some details: Sl 9 64 or 32 bit? Desktop Gnome, KDE,...?
Please first run in a Terminal / Konsole

Code: Select all
su
to get root rights.

Password [digits are not shown] ENTER

Code: Select all
alsaconf

to see your soundcard.
Afterwards

Code: Select all
alsamixer

to adjust channels.

Your idea dont work :s
But im connect speakrs to other output and sound work better but no perfect do you have other idea?
On windows sound work very good.

i) If you have Gnome, you could install gnome-alsamixer.
ii) You could search in forums / in the net for
"Realtek ALC889A"

Sorry, I don't have any experience with XFCE.
But you could try the commands I posted.
And search for
Realtek ALC889A

If I find a relevant hint, I will post it.
