Flash player broken? No green.

Postby msdobrescu » Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:07

Hello,

There is no green component in colors on flash player. Everybody look like Avatar characters.

I know of 2 machines with this issue.

Is there any info on how to fix this?

I have Mageia too, where it looks right.

Thank you.

Mmmmmmm, yes my machine is the same. Everything is working really well, but most (if not all) flash video looks like blue Avatar characters....

Hopefully there will be a fix soon...

If you main point of concern is youtube, then you can join their "html5 beta testing group".
In this case youtube will provide its videos to you without flash at all :)

The whole thing is a little strange.
When i use the flash player on youtube i get the same issus, but with a chrome addon that replace ads in videos i get a normal video.

If i turn on the hwaccerleration flash player crashes, very often.

I have the nvidiablob.

Interestingly, the flash player has broken again with todays updates. Following Fitzcarraldo's repair instruction, however fixes the problem....

Code: Select all
EnableLinuxHWVideoDecode=1
