flash and pulseaudio [Solved]

Postby witekmo » Thu May 03, 2012 14:26

When flash plugin is using audio it blocks every other application like VLC or smplayer from using sound. Is there a way to make flash plugin to not block other applications?

Maybe at least somebody know how to make flash use pulsaudio instead of direct access to sound device?

Hi there,
are you sure you're using pulsaudio. I used Sabayon for about 2 Month without knowing that pulsaudio is not working (I reused the /home-partition). I noticed it because pavucontrol couldn't connect to pulsaudio. After deleting my .pulse-folder everything worked.

Yes, pulseaudio is working correctly and VLC and Mplayer use it and can access sound device simultaneously. But I don`t know how to make flash use pulse, too. It seems to access sound device directly and blocks it.
