Lower video default settings at LiveCD and install

The scripts installation at every GNU/Linux LiveCD distro and install detects the video card and the monitor hardware and SET THEM TO MAXIMIM RESOLUTION.

I had problems in the past with my 4:3 Samsung SyncMaster 20.5" that oficially reported 1600x1200 max resolution, but it fickered and went to black. I had to change monitor settings to 1024x768 in the seconds it where stable.

Now I have an ASUS 16:9 23" that can use 1080p but font and icon sizes are better if I switch to 720p and of course it goes faster with this resolution.

If the video settings script would put AS DEFAULT LiveCD resolutions and install resolutions 1024x768 for 4:3 screens, 720p for 16:9 screens and some other for laptops screens special resolutions below maximum it will be better for everybody.

First every device allows this lower resolutions
Second it will be faster
Third bigger font sizes
Fourth No PROBLEMS

As I had to change the monitor resolution and now i do because i want to, anybody can switch to higher resolutions inside the LiveCD or after installing, what is easier to do - bigger font sizes and less hardware problems if they are -

And if anyone want to test the LiveCD ISO at Virtualbox, or Qemu bigger fonts would help a lot.

If you want you can put a pop up message after booting "monitor settings are not at maximum by default you can change them at monitor settings if you wish" as Ubuntu does with proprietary drivers.

I think once one distro makes this changes every other one will copy this because is more rational.
