Hi everyone.
I have a little problem with lm-sensors and coretemp module.
Since I upgraded to kde 4.8.2 today (I overwrited some conf files....so stupid I didn't have backups!) I can't read the temperatures of my four cpu cores. Everything was smooth since yesterday.
I have noticed that, from a fresh reboot, coretemp module (which, btw, is the only dipendency requested by lm-sensors on my system) is not loaded (simply doing "lsmod | grep coretemp") but the module is present and working: in fact, after a "modprobe coretemp" it shows up on lsmod list and I can even use the command "sensors" on a terminal to read the temperatures. So the main problem is how to get it loaded at the startup: I added the line "coretemp" in /etc/modules.conf (but it is not present in /etc/conf.d/modules) and also used the suggested command "rc-update add coretemp", but nothing happened. I'd also like to mention that on some tutorials they suggested to add it in "rc.local" file ...but I cannot find such file!!can you give me more information?
Thanks in advance for this (probably) stupid question, but I can't understand where I am failing after a lot of researches.
Bye
Renzo
