If I enable sabayon-linux repository in equo I get:

Errors updating repositories

The log says:

bad repository id specified: sabayon-limbo

The repos are:
sabayon-weekly (default in v8)
sabayonlinux.org (can use instead of weekly)
sabayon-limbo (can use with sabayonlinux.org (at your own risk))

Ensure you have specified the correct name. It's easiest to enable limbo in sulfur (IMO). If you currently use weekly & want to use sabayonlinux.org & limbo how to change from weekly to sabayonlinux.org has been written about recently in the forum.

Code: Select all
# equo update --force
# equo repo mirrorsort "repo name"
# equo upgrade --ask

It was in sulfur that I tried to enable limbo and got the error.

I've since edited the repositories.conf file directly. That seems to work.

I'm using the amd64 daily. Oddly, it uses the sabayonlinux.org not the sabayon-weekly that the v8 is supposed to use (if I understood correctly).

I have experience of only kde 7, kde 8 & corecdx 8 dvd's & weekly is default, I have read here that it is supposed to be the default repo now. I have never used the daily dvds & if sabayonlinux.org is the default I stand corrected, sorry to mis-lead you.
