rc0.-rc6.d directories missing? [Solved]

Hi,

I'm new to Sabyon, but not Linux. Installed Sabayon 8 xfce as an Guest OS on VMware Workstation 8.0.2 build-591240.
Ran all the commands mentioned in http://wiki.sabayon.org/index.php?title ... t_to_do.3F
The freshly installed Sabayon works smooth. No hazels so far. Later, when I tried to install VMware Tools on my
virtual instance I was asked following question:

What is the directory that contains the init directories (rc0.d/ to rc6.d/)?

Since I didn't know I aborted the installation and checked for those directories.

leifew@sabayon ~ $ which rc0.d
which: no rc0.d in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/opt/bin:/usr/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.6.2:/usr/games/bin)

Seems that those directories are missing or replaced with something else. Usually they are found in /etc/init.d,
but matters are different in Sabayon, aren't they?
Please advice me.

If it nags about rc stuff, just sudo mkdir /etc/rc.d/rc0.d and repeat 6 times, going from rc0 to rc6 then try vmware-config.pl again.

and Where is /etc/rc0.d? (solved):

/etc/vmware/init.d/rc0.d
/etc/vmware/init.d/rc0.d/.keep_app-emulation_vmware-server-0
/etc/vmware/init.d/rc0.d/K08vmware

Thanks for your suggestion, but that dirs do not exist on my system. I workarounded that:

I had to create the folders manually.

Try those.

If the directories are not being created by the Entropy package, I recommend you file a bug report (click on the link 'Bugs' at the top of this page).
