Is the installer for Sabayon set up to easily handle UEFI booting via Grub2 on a GPT-formatted SSD? I've tried several different distros, and all seem to require the user to perform a lot of tricks and tweaks.
I've managed this successfully on ArchLinux in the past, but I've forgotten how I did it and the wiki seems to be a little less clear now. If you've tried doing what I want to do, you'll know that it's not necessarily smooth sailing.
In short, I'd like an installation sequence that handles UEFI+GPT+GRUB2 as easily as most installers handle BIOS+MBR+GRUB.
