Emerge and Entropy

Hello,

i have question to the Update Managements. I use more emerge as the binary package Manager Entropy. Now i have installed the last Updates with emerge but the entropy System imaging the same Updates again. What can i do that he not installed the Updates which i have installed with emerge?

Hi,
take a look to: /etc/entropy/client.conf,
change the line:

Code: Select all

ignore-spm-downgrades = disable


to:

Code: Select all

ignore-spm-downgrades = enable


Be aware that entropy will still try to replace packages that you installed with portage if they have the same version.
