AVConv is broken how do I switch back to FFMPEG?

None of the video editing software on my computer works correctly since the last time I ran equo upgrade.

In that last update sabayon switched from FFMPEG to AVCONV. Now Openshot video editor is outputting video with the colors off.

Pitivi also doesn't work right, it hangs when I go to render the project.

Both show errors from avconv when I run them from a the terminal.

Can anyone help me with this? I really need to do some video editing, and I hate the thought of switching to ubuntu.

Can you file a bug for these issues please? They probably can be resolved with a rebuild against libav.

I tried to use portage.

emerge --unmerge libav
emerge ffmpeg

seems to work until now. This way, I could emerge dvdstyler from current portage tree. Of course, I don't know if anything else will break.
