It's giving me the following error:
- Code: Select all
[pulseaudio] main.c: User-configured server at {45172b021fd84547e692242d00000019}unix:/home/ponder/.pulse/45172b021fd84547e692242d00000019-runtime/native, which appears to be local. Probing deeper.
Last time I got this I solved the problem by removing the PULSE_SERVER environment variable from my .bashrc, but this time it's not set and I cannot find where else it may be set to cause this error. 'echo $PULSE_SERVER' returns null, so it's not the environment variable this time. I've checked the 4 files in /etc/pulse but they have't been altered and it's not set in any of those.
Can anyone help this time or is it going to be another case of me bashing my head against the desk until I can figure it out for myself? Google has, as usual, proven totally useless because I seem to attract errors that nobody else gets.
