hi,

first I'm new to sabayon

how can I currently install cinnamon 1.3.1 from http://packages.sabayon.org/show/cinnam ... 5,standard?

everytime i type

equo install gnome-extra/cinnamon-1.3.1

it couldn't be found :/

I think is a newbie question so please don't blame me thanks!

If you look at the link you provided, it is only available on the sabayon-limbo and the sabayonlinux.org repository. Chances are, you are using the sabayon-weekly repository.

If that is the case, all you need to do is wait a bit longer (a week max) and it will be available.

The other option is to enable the sabayonlinux.org to get packages earlier, but at the risk of running into some issues every once in a while (not very frequent, but more than sabayon-weekly).
