starting from that how to update portage if i got a message from terminal when I did emerge --sync:
an update to portage is available...to update portage run 'emerge portage' now.

That message from emerge --sync is only relevant for Portage users who use Portage exclusively. If you use Entropy and Portage on the same machine then you should ignore the Portage message telling you that there is an upgrade for the portage package. See the second warning in SL Wiki article: HOWTO: Safely mix Entropy and Portage.

Sabayon use an hard-masked portage version

sys-apps/portage-2.2.0_alpha84 branch: 5, [sabayon-weekly]

you can mask <sys-apps/portage-2.2.0_alpha84 version to remove portage message updates
