XFCE – keyboard shortcut not working

Postby deadDrift » Wed Feb 08, 2012 14:08

My keyboard shortcut, Ctl+Alt+Del, no longer locks my session. I could have swarn this used to work. My Settings/Keyboard/Application Shortcuts show: xflock4 is linked to <Control><Alt>Delete.

I even tried the resetting defaults button and no luck. Any ideas on where to look to fix this one?

Thanks,

Hey, so I was able to fix this by reassigning the shortcut command. Go to settings/keyboard/applications shortcuts, and then double click on xflock4 (the right column). It should come up with a small screen saying "Command Shortcut" "Command:xflock4" and "Shortcut: (should be blank here)." Use the shortcut that you want to be assigned to the command (<control (which will be registered as primary)><alt>delete) and it should automatically close (with the new shortcut being <primary><alt>delete). You should be all set now. Hope this works for you!
