Urban Terror crash

just installed sabayon 7 gnome, instsalled urbanterror, but once in game, if i hit the escape key it will seem to freeze Urt, and quit out of the game at all.

I can confirm I have the same problem....I'm running Gnome3 & every time while inside the game & I try to press the Esc button either to switch teams or change items or let's say to go back to main menu it just quits out of the game without showing anything.

I downloaded the latest version which is 4.xx from the main site & there doesn't seem to be any problem with the new version so I can only assume that the bug has something to do with the older version of the game in sabayon repository (entropy)...although in both versions of the game I have problem with the sound...there's some weird echo effect that I just can't get rid of. It's like when you take a shot...there's echo of the gun fire & even the music keeps on echo-ing when I start the game....more like a Rap Lol.

Anyway I would want to file a bug report once the issue has been confirmed & I'd also like to know if there's a quick fix for this.
