Problem, I can't print Epson Stylus SX105

If that does not work, you are probably out of luck, as the Guntenprint driver is your best bet. Epson no longer provide a Linux driver for your specific model of printer.

Does your model of printer support Epson's ESC/P-R language? If it does, you could try a long shot: install the package net-print/epson-inkjet-printer-escpr package via Portage from a third-party overlay:

# emerge --sync # Sync the main tree ebuilds on your PC.
# layman -S # Download list of overlays, and sync ebuilds of already added overlays.

# layman -a sabayon # Add first new split Sabayon overlay.
# layman -a sabayon-distro # Add second new split Sabayon overlay.
# layman -a sunrise # Add the sunrise overlay.
# layman -S # Make sure all overlays are synced.
# FEATURES="-collision-detect -protect-owned" emerge -1v epson-inkjet-printer-escpr
# equo rescue spmsync # Tell Entropy what you did via Portage.
# exit
$

Then launch your Web browser, go to localhost:631 and try to install the driver. I have no idea what it will be listed as in CUPS, but you should be able to spot a new addition to the list of printers under Epson.


EDIT: Furthermore, there's an ebuild in the neichael overlay for the Epson NX110/SX110 printers. I don't know how compatible your SX105 is with the SX110 model, but you might want to give that a try too. Assuming you already entered the commands I gave above, you would need to do:

I did everything but doesn't works

Maybe I did something wrong...

It is very weird, my printer works fine, without extra work in Crunchbang (Debian stable -old...) Ubuntu 11.10, Linux Mint (Debian) Why not in Sabayon, the last repos, rolling release, new kernel....?

sorry I have been very busy, I'm trying again run my printer.

You are not offending me.

I think I have allowed me to print in cups, but is possible have a problem with the configuration in cups...
