KDE 4.7.4 dvd drive question [Solved]

Postby tekwyzrd » Sat Jan 28, 2012 23:50

I haven't used my dvd burner for a while and today when I was preparing to burn the 1/25 daily iso for another computer I'm assembling I encountered an odd problem. I hit the button to eject the drive's tray and found it will not stay open. The tray closes immediately after opening forcing me to be extremely quick inserting or removing a disc. I tried to find a way to disable the autoclose but google is going downhill fast and I found nothing useful. Can anyone suggest a way to stop the tray from immediately closing after it's opened?

When this happens, what are you using? K3b? Have you tried using something else, just to rule out a hardware problem with the DVD drive itself?
