Cannot connect with Skype after weekly updates!

Hello,

just after I applied the weekly updates I cannot connect to Skype today.
Can someone tell me what is the problem? How can I debug this?
In the shell terminal there are no errors. Skype launches and I can type my password, but the connection cannot be established.
I can't close it normally and have to use "kill" to terminate it.

It seems like it's the same problem and only solution on my PC is "PULSE_SERVER=127.0.0.1 skype &" from a console. And I don't have blue-tooth and just a default KDE installation.

Richlion, it's not the "only solution", but, for people who don't want to rebuild packages, it's a simple work-around if it works (which it may not, as evidenced by the experience of ReemZ). If it works for you and you're happy enough with that work-around, then fine, but you aren't obliged to launch Skype from the command line; you can use the KDE Menu editor and edit the entry for Skype to include the environment variable assignment. Similarly, if you have any Skype Desktop Configuration Files (icons on your Desktop or in other directories), you can edit those to do the same thing.
