Sabayon Affected by alsa-utils bug? [Solved]

Hi All,

I ran across this thread while researching why festival tts was coming up in 'paused' mode when I'd tell it to read a file: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/778619

Can anyone confirm that sabayon-weekly is using a version of alsa-utils that's affected by the bug?

Just compiled and installed alsa-utils-1.0.25 which was released today that fixed this issue. It required me to compile and install alsa-lib-1.0.25 as well but it's all good with the new version. The fix was with the option added for interactive mode in aplay (http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index. ... .2Farecord)
