maxima and sbcl

Postby tangram » Tue Dec 06, 2011 21:13

When I run maxima I got following error:
maxima
fatal error encountered in SBCL pid 9005(tid 140737353881344):
can't load .core for different runtime, sorry

The system is too badly corrupted or confused to continue at the Lisp
level. If the system had been compiled with the SB-LDB feature, we'd drop
into the LDB low-level debugger now. But there's no LDB in this build, so
we can't really do anything but just exit, sorry.

It seems that maxima was compiled with another sbcl version as I have ?
This applies to files in versions:
sci-mathematics/wxmaxima-11.04.0
sci-mathematics/maxima-5.21.1-r1
dev-lisp/sbcl-1.0.45

Could someone check it out please ?
Thanks.

I don't use those packages so cannot be of much help. I suggest you file a bug report (see the link Bugs at the top of this page). If you know how to use Portage, you could try installing those specific packages using Portage instead of Entropy to see if that gets round the problem for the time being.
