The command dhcpcd eth0 worked great, so I could connect to the internet. Then I installed libnl and rebooted but nothing changed

I don't even see the networkmanager icon in the KDE plasmoids list :/ Though equo reports networkmanager to be installed...
This is the output I get if I run oscheck:
- Code: Select all
[root@dev00 ~]# equo security oscheck

(there's a localization typo as well: "ffile" got two "f")
Is there a command in equo to re-install a package, something like urpmi --replacepkgs from Mandriva?
Update:I think I got the network running again. I think I was missing a file called libwimaxll.so, and after reinstalling the correct package the network was back when I rebooted. Beats me how I lost that file though. Also, equo libtest reported no problems, although it mentioned this file in its output (I couldn't find it even after updatedb/locate).
The last problem left is that NetworkManager icon is missing. I don't have it in the tray nor in the plasmoid list :/ I used the command /etc/init.d/NetworkManager restart, everything seems fine but there's no icon nowhere.
