I think "portage" run with "his" gcc-version and it is not informed about entropy-gcc

I've the same issue ...

search gcc via poratge
Code: Select all
# emerge --search gcc

or exi
Code: Select all
# eix gcc

and check wich version portage "think" ha zinstalled

I don't know how to inform portage about new gcc installed via entropy without compile gcc :|

I am quite confused.
Why don't you just install sys-devel/gcc (4.6 version of course!!!) from Entropy?

Code: Select all
# gcc-config -l

Said x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-4.6.2 was used. But it was not installed (said sulfur). So I installed it with:

Code: Select all
# equo install gcc-4.6.2 --ask

And all is fine.
