Chromium, missing font?

I find it hard to describe the issue im currently encountering, I don't know whats wrong but it's not only on Sabayon (also Ubuntu, Gentoo)

Not sure if it's actually a font issue.
I've noticed that some versions have that issue (altough I see "???" and not squares) and other doesn't. And it seems to alternate every new update or two. Current version (an amd64 arch) shows the numbers here.
