Don't use VMware myself. Google? Could not open /dev/vmmon: No such file or directory. modprobe vmmon?

I had this issue and found a fix.
Run this as root:
Code: Select all
/etc/init.d/vmware start

Of course we need to be able to run this on every reboot, is there some way we can automate this?
I am sure there is, I just don't know how.

n3wu53r, I think you are looking for:
(as root)
Code: Select all
rc-update add vmware default

For more informations see:
Code: Select all
man rc-update
